There was a time when we had only antenna to get the TV channel signals to watch television. That too, there was not many channels to watch. we had to be content with the few channels that was available then. Then came the dish antenna, with which we had the access to more and more channels, where the connections for the same was given through cables, which was ultimately called the cable TV. With the arrival of the cable TV, there came many new channels into existence. different channels meant that there was different option for people to get entertained. But still there was always scope for improvement in technology. Then came the satellite TV ,one of the biggest improvement in technology as far as television is concerned. The satellite TV is something were each individual connection gets an individual tiny dish, were the signal is directly got from the satellite. The satellite television brought along with it a high definition picture quality and sound quality, it can never get better than this. Which replaced the low picture and sound quality that a normal cable TV gave . Now watching television has become an all new fun and entertainment. But there is only one disadvantage with the satellite television, that is the signals could get distracted during the rainy season. heavy rains can cause distraction in the signal we receive, which in turn will bring the low picture and sound quality. That were cable TV scores over the satellite TV.
