The Cd's came up with the better memory space as much as 700MB. But then as the technology improved, the Cd's were replaced by the DVDs. The DVDs came up with even bigger memory space,with which we were able to store more files and data's. The memory of the DVDs are 4.7 GB almost seven times that of a CD. then came the USB's or the pen drive, which were very small and compact. we can actually have it in our pockets and go were ever we want to. The Pen drives now are available with more memory space than that of the DVDs. We can find a pen drive with memory of 8 GB too. But now the latest is the blue ray disc. The blue ray disc is similar to the DVDs, look wise. But as far as the memory is concerned, the blue ray disc is in the range of 25GB to 50 GB.
