Cricket as always been a very popular sport and one of the biggest sport, which is followed by millions of people after soccer. But unlike football cricket has always been very popular for its country to country face offs. One country plays against another on a rotation basis. They play tests , ODI's and 20-20. But on the other hand, as far as football is concerned Club or football leagues more than the country against country face offs. But in the case of cricket, club cricket was not as big or as popular. But that has all changed now, with the introduction of the IPl T-20, the club cricket has Finally arrived on the big stage. Started in 2008, with the second edition running now, it has already become a huge hit with the cricket crazy people around the world. It has also attracted more viewers towards cricket and also created interests in more people,to play the sports.

The world has come across many flu's and many scares for life. Not a long before the world was worried about the flu called bird flu,which was deadly dangerous which killed many people around the world. Now a new scare has been emerged in the name of swine flu influenza. This is a new flu that has been scaring people around the world. This swine flu spreads from the pigs to the humans. The first case of swine flu was spotted on humans in Mexico. It has already killed more the 150 life's in Mexico alone. Not just that, this deadly flu is fast spreading all over north America. There is already people spotted with the swine flu symptoms in the united states and Canada. It is also spreading to other parts of the world, through people who have been to Mexico for vacations. This has left the whole world in a spot of bother. all the airports around the world has been put on high alert following this scare. All the passengers are thoroughly checked by their arrival,to avoid the flu spreading in their locality.

The symptoms of this deadly disease are chills,fever, sore throat, muscle pain, head ache, coughing and general discomfort. This flu spreads from one person to other by sneezing or coughing. So people in countries which are affected by this flu are advised to wear a mask compulsory to avoid spreading. And since this flu spreads from pigs to humans, many pigs were killed in Mexico to avoid further damage. also all schools and universities have been closed down in Mexico until the situation comes under control. People all over the world are hoping that this scare ends sooner than later. Lets hope it is controlled as soon as possible.

If there is one actor who can do any role as convincing as it can be , then it has to be Tom Hanks. He is one of the finest performers that the whole world has ever produced. I myself is an aspiring film maker, and if i have to make a choice of one amongst the best ever actors, i will go with tom hanks any day. He can do any role at ease and at the same time in a very convincing manner. He has a bit of reputation to back his worth,that is he has won two Oscar awards and nominated for other three. He won the Oscar award for the films Forrest gump and Philadelphia. Specially his performance in the movie Forrest gump was very well portrayed , I don't think any other actor could have performed as convincing as he did. It's not that he is the only one actor who can perform well, but he is one actor who can out perform others. Now he is in his fifties as far as his age is concerned, but he can still do some scintillating performances. Many around the world will back him as the best ever and rightly so he was honoured by the a film society in The US. In the 36th annual film society honoured Tom Hanks as a tribute to him, for his contribution to the Hollywood film industry. We can only hope There are many actors in the future following the footsteps of Tom Hanks.

Some tips on gaining weight. Well this may sound odd for many , even it may sound stupid for many. But yes that is understandable. That is because most of the people around the world are working very hard to reduce their weight. Will the mobile phones replace the digital camera's? This has been a doubt in my mind ever since i saw a mobile phone with 5 mega pixel camera. It is common that as far as a normal digital camera which a common man uses will in the range of 7 or 8 mega pixel. The 8 mega pixel camera itself comes up with lots of features that would keep us interested in. That is the picture quality that a 8 mega pixel camera gives will be of high quality , just enough for us to carry it around for our outings. on top of that the 8 mega pixel or even 7 mega pixel camera's come with very good zooming capabilities, using which we can take a snap of the people or objects far away from us. But now after seeing that mobile phone which had 5 mega pixel camera, i think that i should give a second thought on buying a new digital camera. That's because the mobile phone which has the 5 mega pixel camera is in itself has very good picture quality and zooming capabilities. And if this trend continues we may even see a mobile phone with 8 mega pixel camera in the near future. But we will have to wait and see if that happens, which may cause serious head aches to companies producing digital cameras.

The great Indian premier league which was a great hit last year is all set for the second edition. Though it makes many of the Indian people feel bad that the ipl is not happening in India this time around, they are at least happy for the fact that at last it is taking place after all the speculations that was there. Now the grand ipl carnival is all set for a grand opening in the South African soil of cape town. It is now well known that the ipl is going to be held in South Africa this time around. so ipl is well and truly on. From 18th of April onwards the cricket loving people around the world will go crazy . it is expected that this years ipl is going to be much bigger and in all terms better than last time. Thus to prove that all the eight ipl teams have been well prepared to put up a great show. so, with the ipl carnival is all set to begin , its time for us to enjoy the entertainment its going to provide. The much expected world cheapest car Tata's nano was launched just recently. The nano , which is also termed as the people car will be available for the people of India at one lakh Indian rupees. This has been termed as an alternative for the costly bikes and also the middle class car. This car has been launched as an open competition for the tiny maruthi 800 car, which was the cheapest car in India up and until the nano was launched. It is said that the nano will be better equipped than the maruthi in every aspects, both technically as well as the looks. This car is going to be available for the general public from July onwards. For which the bookings are already on. It is said that there as been huge response for the nano from the Indian public, for which is evident from large bookings that going on around the world. This car is not just going to be for India, but the whole world will use it some day. Already European version of the nano has been launched and will be available in the markets very soon.

Mani ratnam is one of the most celebrated film makers of the present generation. He is one of the most successful film makers in Indian cinema, specially Tamil cinema. He is one of the few film makers in India who has made films on international standards. Hectic schedule was going on in the making of this block buster. That's when mani got an heart attack. This is said to be his second heart attack. Now he is under medical care in one of the hospitals in Chennai. By god sake he is out of danger and stable now. This had stalled the work on his next film, but that's not important now, its his health. Only if he is healthy he can make some more really good films. There was a time we only had the floppies and the Cd's to record data or any media files. Then as the times passed by, came the DVDs. The DVDs were better equipped with better technology and most of all better quality. The disc space also was comparatively very high to that of the normal Cd's . That is Since the blue ray disc uses the blue laser to read and write the data, which also has lesser wave length of 405 nanometer , can store more files in its disc. which is not the case with the DVDs which uses the red laser which has more wavelength and thereby has lesser disc space compared to that of the Blue Ray discs. The Blue ray disc would have a disc space of 25GB if it is a single layer disc and 50GB if its a double layer disc. with all these wonderful features, this disc is now available in the commercial market, with all leading consumer electronics companies. These disc are mainly used to store high definition media files(audio and video) and play station games.

Going out to the movie theaters and watching a nice movie is always fun. We spend a lot of money on the movie tickets to watch a movie. In that case we would always look to watch a good movie,which is worth the money we paid for it. Sometimes the movies live upto our expectation and sometimes not.
